Children's Ministries
​
We have many opportunities for children to grow in faith – on Sundays and during the summer. Children are vital members of our congregation. For more information on any of our children's ministries, contact the church office. (Sunday School classes do not meet in the summer from May 26th - Sept 1st.)

PreK/K 4 years old through kindergarten

Bible Basics for Pre-Readers is an approachable, fun, Bible-driven curriculum that allows kids to explore stories from scripture.

1st-5th Grade

Children discover what it means to be a part of God’s family! Deep Blue’s One Room, Sunday School curriculum capitalizes on learning and cooperation in a group of various ages.

Vacation Bible School
VBS is open to children ages 4 through 5th grade and takes place one week each summer.

Summer Camps
Life-changing summer camps for children and youth are offered by the Camping and Retreat Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Go to www.umccamps.org for more information. Scholarship help is available from our church.

​Director of Faith Formation, part-time (30 hours per week, with possibility of growth to a full-time position). Seeking a Director of Faith Formation for 570-member mission driven church in family-oriented community. This staff member would cultivate faith formation for all ages: Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, youth group, youth mission trips, and adult ministries. We are looking for a dynamic person of faith and creativity who can inspire children, youth and engage/manage adult volunteers while serving as a mentor and role model. Must be able to teach and model beliefs consistent with the United Methodist Church. Willingness to engage in community relations, enact excellent communication skills, and effectively use social media are requirements. Salary commensurate with experience.
